Drive Expands into USA with Minnesota Partner

Drive Hockey Analytics advanced tracking and player development system arrives in the USA with the signing of a new Regional Partner in Blaine, Minnesota.

VANCOUVER, 21 June, 2023 / Drive Hockey Analytics Inc. is delighted to welcome Jerry Anderson and his company Barn Stats as the first US based Regional Service Partner. Based in Blaine, close to the twin cities of Minneapolis and St Paul, Barn Stats is perfectly positioned to support the vibrant grassroots hockey community with Drive Hockey’s NHL-level tracking and analytics platform.

The Drive Hockey Tracking System is currently available to teams in Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, and Ottawa. It uses advanced sensor technology to gather player performance data a rate of more than 3000 data points per second and uses proprietary AI to create insightful analytics for players and coaches to improve player development and performance.

Anderson is an active player, coach, and father of hockey players. In addition to his hockey background, he brings two decades of IT experience with a focus on data and analytics.

“I quickly understood the power of this service. I also have a passion for the game, so anything I believe will benefit my kids or players is easy to stand behind” states Anderson. “As parents we spend a lot of time and money on training. Having the ability to understand what training to focus on can help parents direct resources optimally. As a coach, it adds an additional tool to assist players in improving their game. Both through measuring progress, but also by creating a competitive environment for the team practice.”

“Jerry is a great fit for Drive and will be able to use our system to immediately impact player development in his region” says Mike Dahlstedt, Drive Hockey CEO.

Drive Regional Partners provide tracking services for hockey teams of any level, which includes game tracking, evaluations and combines, practice tracking, and player benchmarking. Associations and teams are also able to purchase their own tracking systems through Barn Stats.
