We’re looking for a Hockey Tracking Specialist to become an expert in operating, supporting and servicing our advanced player and puck tracking system in the Vancouver regional market. If you have passion for hockey and are looking to build a career in the sports tech industry, we’d love to hear from you. You would be working with top teams, coaches and associations by setting up and operating our tracking system at local events. Although this is an entry level position, you’ll be playing a key role alongside a small team of professionals with a focus on learning how to operate and support the next generation of sports analytics technology.

What you’d be doing:
- Learn to be an expert in player and puck tracking technology using Drive Hockey’s system
- Participate in tournament and events, talk to teams, parents and players about our technology and services
- Contact local teams and associations to send them info on what we do, offer trials and book services
- Manage pipeline of customer inquiries
- Measure and pre-calibrate local rinks
- Setup tracking system at rinks to track practices and games
- Train and provide tier 1 support to partners, teams who have their own tracking system
- Work with tech team to make sure tracked games are processed timely, help find bugs
- Help assemble sensors and kits from components; use lasers, CNC, 3D printers, solder, reflow ovens, epoxies and power tools.
- Other general administration and operational duties as required, local travel required
About you:
- Completed a degree in engineering, business, marketing, sports science or a related field
- People person, strong communicator with excellent verbal and writing skills
- 2 years of experience in tech support, sales or hockey industry work
- A hockey background as a player, volunteer or fan; a hockey network would be helpful
- Trustworthy, reliable, friendly and outgoing
- Technologically inclined with strong problem solving skills
