It’s Game On – Drive Hockey Hits More Markets Than Ever For The 2024/25 Season

Drive Analytics welcomes new partners across North America in time for the start of the 2024/2025 hockey season.

VANCOUVER, 17 September, 2024 / As the 2024/25 season approaches, North American access to the Drive Hockey Tracking System and its unique sensor-based analytics continues to expand. This season players, coaches, and teams will benefit from an improved analytics dashboard and new strength and conditioning data, traditionally accessible only through off-ice testing. In time for the new season, Drive welcomes seven new Service Partners from across North America.

Drive’s Service Partners offer detailed performance analytics using the same technology that used by the ECHL, USHL, and BCHL. They bring this pro-level technology to every level of competitive hockey in their regions.

The Drive Hockey Smart-Arena Analytics System provides NHL-level analytics technology using sensors & AI. It streamlines evaluations using data driven hockey player rankings, improves skill development programs with deep technical assessments and empowers coaches with tactical game intelligence. Taking only 15 minutes to set up, the system gathers player performance data a rate of more than 3000 data points per second and uses proprietary AI to create insightful analytics for players and coaches to improve player development and performance.

Drive Analytics’ technology was a key selling point for new partner Tim Coffin in Virginia. “I am an AI expert and love hockey”, states Tim. “I want to incorporate the system for my college”.

For Matt Jones in Manitoba, it is the Drive Tracking System’s “ability to measure with objectivity to identify player strengths and weaknesses. Analytics will help with testing and validating training methodologies to advance player development.”
