DRIVE Hockey Analytics is pleased to announce that the BCIT MAKE+ prototype facility has agreed to sponsor the DRIVE Hockey Analytics project to develop a prototype sports tracking device designed to meet the physical rigors and high-performance demands within the game of ice hockey. The BCIT MAKE+ subgroup Product and Process Applied Research Team (PART) is the only academic product development group in Canada registered to the ISO 13485 Quality Management System for medical device manufacturers. DRIVE Hockey Analytics is a private company incorporated in BC aimed at bringing automated hockey statistics and analytics to minor league players and coaches.
