Drive Hockey Analytics and the Greater Vancouver Canadians AAA zone program have reached a pilot partnership agreement for the 2021/22 season. We are pleased to have the opportunity to partner with a premier program in the Greater Vancouver area to refine and build upon our leading edge player tracking and analytics technology.
Three of the Canadians’ teams, U15 AAA, U17 AAA, and U18 AAA, will employ Drive’s tracking system as an additional development tool. Drive Hockey will work collaboratively with these to collect valuable data in order to improve our product and prepare for market launch. The Greater Vancouver Canadians have produced some of the top prospects in the area including current NHLers Brendan Gallagher, Evander Kane, Nic Petan, and Tristan Jarry, among others.
Canadians’ General Manager, Phil Alalouf, stated “we are looking for innovative ways to remain competitive and support our players in their development. The Drive Hockey Analytics system is bringing to the youth market the latest technology, which is currently only being used at the highest pro levels. This system will provide invaluable, objective player performance information to help us identify areas for improvement as well as support game strategy and decision making.”
This marks the second pilot partnership of 2021 after Drive Hockey reached an agreement with the Coquitlam Express of the BCHL in June.
