At Drive Hockey Analytics, we’re building the future of sports tech—helping teams, coaches, and players tap into elite-level data to elevate performance, connect fans, and reimagine the game.

We’re looking for a good, entry-level Full Stack Developer experienced in developing with node.js and front frameworks such as Vue.js and React to join us in developing AI driven analytic dashboards for top hockey leagues. You will work with a team of highly talented business, technology and sports professionals to bring the latest hockey data & analytics capabilities to life using the world most advanced player tracking technologies.

What you’d be doing:      

  • Working on our operator app, with front-end data visualizations for the hockey analytics and media industries
  • Developing around real-time data streams, ETL pipelines and API’s
  • Maintaining / developing Node.js applications using Express, Sockets.io, Vue.js, Three.js, Redis, GCP
  • Creating advanced SQL queries on databases such as Big Query and MongoDB
  • Using GitHub, setting up Docker containers, deploying development and production apps
  • Operating the system you are building, training people on it, supporting it and becoming our system expert

About you: 

  • 2+ years of experience developing with Node.js, JavaScript, Vue/React in a production setting
  • Prefer DevOps experience; deployments using Github, Docker, cloud systems
  • Expert is JavaScript, CSS, sound knowledge in any modern MVC frameworks
  • Ability to write advanced queries for databases such as MongoDB and BigQuery
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Appreciation for good design, and flair for UI/UX.
  • Writing, testing and debugging front-end code that works across multiple browsers and cross platforms (tablets, desktops, mobile)
  • Can handle web services like REST, JSON
  • Experience building and launching mobile apps an asset
  • Proactive and passionate about new technological trends. Enjoy sharing.
  • People person, able to provide training / support and get away from the desk in a field-ops role from time to time

NOTE: This role is being sponsored by a youth hiring program, as such the candidate will be required to be legally able to work in Canada, be under the age of 30 and a recent graduate of a post-secondary institution.
