Hiring: Regional GM (Partner & Channel Sales)

Work with next generation sports technology bringing Drive Hockey’s player puck tracking technology to market through channel partners. We offer flexible hours, base + unlimited commissions and an early company equity stake that grows every month. This role is ideal for a motivated, self-starter who can take ownership of their deliverables and wants to grow with the company. 

If you have experience working in the hockey community and can head our business marketing and sales team, we’d love to hear from you.  You would be handling channel sales requests from leagues and service partners, managing retail sales teams / partners and overseeing product / service delivery. You’ll be working alongside a small team of professionals with a focus on globally scaling the next generation of sports analytics. 

Compensation:

$2-8k per month base and commissions with a healthy company share option grant.  Work-from-home flexible hours, additional bonuses and benefits after probation period.

What you’d be doing:

  • Handling incoming league and channel sales opportunities, negotiating and closing deals
  • Identify and approach strategic partners, such as trainers, leagues and associations
  • Set short and long term channel strategies and takes responsibility for successful execution
  • Weekly follow-up and outreach through events, social, email, phone
  • Oversee system / service delivery, implementation, training; support accounts over their lifecycle
  • Manage retail sales people and partners, weekly management reports
  • Support management with product, marketing and sales activities, and provide user feedback
  • Maintaining relationships with key partners and hockey industry
  • Analyze market trends and accordingly develop sales plans to increase brand awareness.
  • Assist in marketing activities such as tradeshows, campaigns and other promotional activities.
  • Identify, recruit and on-board new service partners within assigned territory.
  • Some travel may be required

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of channel sales and marketing experience
  • A hockey background or network of industry contacts
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of expertise or equivalent experience
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage projects in a changing and fast-paced environment
  • Hands-on marketing skills; such as digital, web, retail, video or copywriting, etc..
  • Effective communicator (both written, verbal) and strong relationship-building skills
  • Legally able to work in Canada
  • Experience using and managing a CRM system an asset
